Celebrating 40 Years of Faithful Ministry

For forty years, God has faithfully used Pastor José “Chi” Rosado Soto to shepherd His people with unwavering dedication, humility, and love. As he enters retirement, we pause to celebrate not only the years he has served, but the countless lives that have been transformed through his faithful obedience to God’s calling.

Throughout four decades of ministry at Ebenezer, Pastor Chi has been much more than a preacher. He has been a counselor in times of uncertainty, a teacher of God’s Word, a friend to those in need, a source of encouragement during difficult seasons, and a faithful shepherd who has consistently pointed others to Jesus Christ.

His ministry has been marked by compassion, integrity, wisdom, and servant leadership. Whether standing behind the pulpit, visiting someone in the hospital, praying with families, mentoring future leaders, or quietly serving behind the scenes, Pastor Chi has exemplified what it means to faithfully follow Christ.

This incredible journey would not have been possible without the faithful partnership of his beloved wife, Sally Rosado Torres. Together, they answered God’s call with courage and sacrifice, serving side by side to build God’s Kingdom through both Ebenezer and Maranatha. Their love for God and His people created a legacy that continues to impact generations.

As we celebrate Pastor Chi’s retirement, we recognize that while this chapter of pastoral leadership comes to a close, his influence will continue to be felt for years to come. The seeds he has planted, the lives he has touched, and the example he has set will continue to bear fruit for the glory of God.

On behalf of our entire church family, we extend our deepest gratitude for forty years of faithful service, steadfast leadership, and Christ-centered love.

Pastor Chi, thank you for answering God’s call. Thank you for your sacrifices, your prayers, your wisdom, and your unwavering commitment to the Gospel.

As you begin this new season, we pray that the Lord blesses you with peace, joy, renewed strength, and precious time with your family. May He continue to guide your steps, and may you always know how deeply you are loved and appreciated.

Congratulations on your retirement, Pastor Chi.

Your legacy of faith will continue to inspire generations to come.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:21
